Unyielding

Unyielding icon
Defensive
Each time you take damage from a different enemy, you gain Physical Resistance and Magic Resistance for Xs. Entering combat refreshes this duration. Stacks up to 2 times. Upon reaching a certain level, the maximum stacks increase to 4.

What each level gives you

  1. Lv 4Physical Resistance +X%. Magic Resistance +X%.
  2. Lv 7Physical Resistance +X%. Magic Resistance +X%. Stacks up to 4 times.

Each row is everything Unyielding grants once the affix reaches that level, not what that level adds on its own. A roll below level 4 does nothing at all, and the second effect only appears at level 7. The magnitudes read X because they are not fixed: each one scales with the affix level on the individual roll, so two copies of the same piece can carry very different numbers.

How affixes work

Full guide →

Affixes are the rolled modifiers that sit on weapons and armor. Each piece draws its affixes from an affix library, and an affix's effect scales with its level — so the same affix can be weak on a low roll and build-defining on a high one. Reroll and upgrade affixes with affix gems to push the breakpoints higher. In your inventory Unyielding sits in the blue group — survivability rolls that raise what you can walk into.

Unyielding can roll on the following gear:

Socket one of these gems to add Unyielding to a piece of gear instead of chasing the roll — the higher the affix level, the stronger the effect.
