New-player questions

Does Mistfall Hunter have difficulty settings?

There's no difficulty slider. Difficulty comes from which zone tier you queue into — zones run at escalating tiers, from Normal up to Chaos and Cataclysm, with deadlier monsters and richer loot the higher you go, and the top tiers gate behind hub progression. Matchmaking also weighs your gear's Combat Value, so over-gearing a low tier lands you in tougher lobbies.

What are the controls in Mistfall Hunter?

Every bindable action is listed in the Controls section on this page — movement, sprint, dodge, parry, crouch, looting, pings and extraction. The game shows your live key or button binding next to each action in-game, on both keyboard and controller.

Event rules

The full in-game rules for the current limited-time events, exactly as the game states them.

Golden Cipher — event rulesShow

1. What is the Golden Cipher event?

Golden Cipher is an exclusive limited-time event for the official launch of Mistfall Hunter. Gyldhunters have a chance to obtain the special item "Golden Cipher" when defeating monsters and opening chests during matches. Successfully extract with these Golden Ciphers and bring them back to camp to have them deciphered by NPCs. Doing so gives you a chance to win deluxe rewards, including an Alienware Gaming PC (Intel Ultra 9/64GB RAM/RTX 5080 16GB), Razer Basilisk V3 Pro Wireless Gaming Mouse, Gyldhunter Badge, and Lifetime Season Pass!

Deciphering NPCs: Soekja, Dew, Pip, Dramm, Cazarro, Sigrid, and Merimo. Delivering a cipher to the specific NPC who truly knows how to decipher its secrets will yield bonus rewards. 2. What are Golden Envoy Streamers?

Twitch Drops — event rulesShow

Q1: What are Twitch Drops?

Twitch Drops provide in-game rewards to viewers watching designated streams. Link your Twitch account on this page, then watch any Drops-enabled streamer for specified durations during the event to earn various in-game items and rewards.

Q2: When can I participate, and how?

Rewards are only available during the Twitch Drops event period. Check this page for specific event dates and currently available Drops. After registering for Twitch Drops, watch any Drops-enabled Mistfall Hunter gameplay stream for the specified durations during the event to earn rewards. Streamers set their own livestream schedules.

Q3: How do I claim my Twitch Drops rewards?

Once you meet the requirements, Twitch will send you a reward notification. You must go to your Twitch Drops inventory page and manually claim the reward within 24 hours of receiving the notification, or it will expire. Once claimed, the reward will be linked to your game account. Simply log back in to find it in your in-game mailbox. If you're already logged in, you'll need to log out and back in for the reward to appear.

Q4: Which platforms are supported on the linking page?

Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation game accounts can all be linked to your Twitch account. Please log in and link using the platform you actually play on.

Q5: I can see the rewards on the event page, can I claim them directly from there?

No. The event page is only for linking accounts and showing available rewards. The actual claiming process takes place on Twitch: Watch a Drops-enabled stream → Meet the watch time requirement → Click Claim on your Twitch Drops inventory page → Server distributes the reward → Item arrives in your in-game mailbox. The page itself does not handle reward claiming.

Q6: I claimed my reward but still haven't received it. What should I do?

Please check the following in order:Have you created a character on the corresponding regional server? Rewards are sent to the character mailbox in the region of your linked account.Did you link using the correct event page? What if it says "Region Mismatch" after linking? Please check:The server region of your game account (EU/NA/AS, etc.)The region corresponding to the event page link you usedThese two need to match. Q7: I'm in North America, but my game store region is Europe. What should I do if linking fails?

Your event page must match your game's actual store region, not your physical location. For example, if you purchased from the EU store, you should use the non-NA linking page even if you're physically in North America. Please make sure you're using the linking page that matches your store region.

Q8: I linked my account on the event page. Why haven't I received my rewards after claiming?

Please check that you've completed both steps:Log into your game account on the event pageLog into your Twitch account on the event page and click "Connect Account" to confirmBoth steps are required. Q9: I deleted my character and created a new one. Can I still receive my previous rewards?

Rewards will not be automatically reissued after a character is deleted. You'll need to contact support for a manual resend. You'll also need to log out on the linking page, re-link your new character, and provide a screenshot of the successful linking to support for assistance.

Q10: I've completed the Drops requirement multiple times, can I claim the reward more than once?
