Becoming a Spiritual
On death or giving up while knocked, you enter spirit form — a Spiritual. From here you attempt to resurrect rather than immediately leaving the raid. It's the signature twist on extraction-shooter death: dying is a setback with a recovery path, not always the end of your run.
Choosing a rebirth point
As a spirit you pick a rebirth point from several candidates, within a time limit. Candidate points exclude spots too close to other players, so you can't safely materialise on top of an enemy — and neither can they on you.
Resurrections are limited
You have a capped number of resurrections per raid, tracked as you use them until you're maxed out. Each revive applies a temporary resurrect buff, smoothing the moment you're most vulnerable — just after coming back.

Frequently asked questions
What happens when you die in Mistfall Hunter?
You become a Spiritual (a spirit) and can resurrect a limited number of times by choosing a rebirth point, instead of immediately leaving the raid.
Can you resurrect unlimited times?
No. There's a capped number of resurrections per raid, and each one grants a temporary resurrect buff.
How this system behaves is reverse-engineered from Mistfall Hunter's own game code. Exact tuning numbers — stat values, drop rates and prices — are confirmed with the full release on July 29, 2026.
