Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of mistfalldb.com (the “Website”), operated by MistfallDB (“we”, “us”). By accessing the Website — whether with a browser or by any automated means — you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Website.

MistfallDB is an unofficial, fan-made database and mechanics guide for Mistfall Hunter. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the game’s developers or publishers. Game names, terms, artwork and other in-game assets remain the property of their respective owners, and nothing here claims ownership of them.

What we do own is our own work: the selection, structure and arrangement of this database; the derived and computed values, groupings and cross-references we publish; our written guides, tier reads and editorial commentary; the interactive tools and calculators; and the design and source code of the Website. Those are protected as an original compilation and as original writing, independently of the underlying game.

You are welcome, at no cost and without asking us, to:

• Browse, read and use the Website and its tools for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.
• Quote short excerpts — a value, a row, a sentence — in a guide, video, wiki edit, stream or forum post, provided you credit MistfallDB and link back to the page you took it from.
• Link to any page here. Deep links are fine and always will be.

Without our prior written permission, you may not:

• Access the Website by automated means — including crawlers, scrapers, spiders, headless browsers, scripted requests, mirroring or site-download utilities — other than a search engine or AI answer service that identifies itself honestly in its user agent and respects our robots.txt.
• Bulk download or copy the database, or any substantial part of it, whether in one pass or by accumulating pages, requests or asset files over time.
• Republish or redistribute our data, computed values, icons, maps, written guides or code — in whole or in substantial part — on another website, application, repository, dataset, API or other service, including a non-commercial or open-source one.
• Build a competing or derivative database from content obtained here, or seed one with it. Attribution does not make this permitted.
• Circumvent, or attempt to circumvent, any rate limit, bot protection, access control or other technical measure on the Website; or place an unreasonable load on it.
• Remove, obscure or alter any credit, notice or attribution.

The game’s underlying facts are not ours to fence off, and we do not try to. If you want the same data for your own project, go to the same place we did: the game. What these terms prohibit is taking our work instead of doing yours.

We do not publish a JSON export, a data snapshot, a downloadable dump or a public API, and we do not license the database for reuse. Any endpoint, asset file or bundle the Website happens to serve in order to render a page is part of the Website’s operation, not an offer of data — using one as a data source is a breach of these terms.

We monitor traffic for automated collection. Where we see it we may, without notice, rate-limit, challenge or block the requester, and — for conduct that breaches these terms — pursue any remedy available to us, including takedown requests to the host, registrar, CDN, app store or code-hosting platform carrying the infringing copy.

If you are unsure whether something you want to do is allowed, ask first. We would rather answer a question than send a notice.

The Website is provided “as is”. We work hard on accuracy, but the game changes with every patch and we make no warranty that the content is complete, current or error-free. Use it at your own risk; we are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on it.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
