Brotherhood

Brotherhood icon
Defensive
While alive, grants increased Defense to yourself and allies. If multiple team members have this affix, only the highest-level affix takes effect. Upon reaching a certain level, grants increased Attack to yourself and allies.

What each level gives you

  1. Lv 4Defense +X.
  2. Lv 7Defense +X. Attack +X%.

Each row is everything Brotherhood grants once the affix reaches that level, not what that level adds on its own. A roll below level 4 does nothing at all, and the second effect only appears at level 7. The magnitudes read X because they are not fixed: each one scales with the affix level on the individual roll, so two copies of the same piece can carry very different numbers.

How affixes work

Full guide →

Affixes are the rolled modifiers that sit on weapons and armor. Each piece draws its affixes from an affix library, and an affix's effect scales with its level — so the same affix can be weak on a low roll and build-defining on a high one. Reroll and upgrade affixes with affix gems to push the breakpoints higher. In your inventory Brotherhood sits in the blue group — survivability rolls that raise what you can walk into.

Brotherhood can roll on 40 pieces of gear — a sample of the highest-rarity ones:

Socket one of these gems to add Brotherhood to a piece of gear instead of chasing the roll — the higher the affix level, the stronger the effect.
